clem altnacht and the cityfiction series

Mixing digital art and photography, the CityFiction series are at first

aimed to confront urban regeneration and collective memory,
with techniques such as perspective distortion and photodeconstruction.



Altnacht moves together cityscapes, photography and digital art possibilities,
to confront the actual lived city and an impossible one -
a space between this world and Altnacht's views.



That’s not futuristic nor sci-fi. CityFiction series build an else, fictive, false or oneiric scapes
that will never shows, still based upon original photographs.

CityFiction series draw an alteration of the world.
